Resilience Workshop

The world creates uncertainty and stress in all of us so that to survive and thrive we need to grow our resilience.

How would it feel to be able to bounce back from life’s setbacks?

This workshop is available as a lunch and learn, half-day or complete-day workshop. It’s designed to assist anyone who would benefit from developing their resilience to day-to-day stressors.

The total number of cases of work-related stress, depression or anxiety in 2020/21 was 822,000.

What is Emotional Resilience?

Emotional resilience is the ability to cope effectively with stress and adversity. It is the ability to “bounce back” from difficult experiences and challenging situations. Resilient people are often described as being “mentally tough,” “able to roll with the punches,” or “able to take things in stride.”

Resilience is not something that we are born with – it is a skill that can be learned and developed. Some people may lack emotional resilience; without it, they may struggle to cope with life’s challenges. However, with practice and effort, anyone can develop emotional resilience.

There are many benefits to having emotional resilience. People who are emotionally resilient tend to be more successful in life, both professionally and personally. They are better able to cope with stress and setbacks, and they are more likely to bounce back from difficult experiences. Emotionally resilient people are also more likely to have fulfilling and satisfying relationships.

When we learn how to become resilient, we learn how to embrace the beautifully broad spectrum of the human experience.”
