Mindfulness Workshop

There are days when life seems so hectic we can scarcely keep up. We may feel overwhelmed by events, stressed out or out of control. Mindfulness is a practice that can help us manage these feelings and improve our lives.

How would it feel to be free from stress?

This lunch and learn style workshop will help attendees learn mindfulness practices to find their own internal quiet space.

The total number of cases of work-related stress, depression or anxiety in 2020/21 was 822,000.

What is Mindfulness?

Mindfulness can be defined as “the quality or state of being conscious or aware of something.” In other words, it’s all about being present in the moment and paying attention to your surroundings and your thoughts and feelings. It’s about being aware of what’s happening around you without getting wrapped up in it or letting it affect you.

Modern life is hectic, and it can be easy to get caught up in the day-to-day grind and forget about the things that are really important. By practising mindfulness, you can learn to slow down and appreciate the moment. You can learn to focus on your work and your relationships instead of letting your thoughts race ahead to the next thing on your to-do list.

There are many benefits to incorporating mindfulness into your life, both in and out of the workplace. In the workplace, mindfulness can help you to reduce stress, boost productivity, and enhance your creativity.

The present moment is the only time over which we have dominion.

How Will This Workshop Help?

There are days when life seems so hectic we can scarcely keep up. On other days we feel overwhelmed by events or stressed out. Mindfulness is a practice that can help us manage these feelings and improve our lives. It’s a way of being in the present moment, with all of our thoughts and feelings, and letting go of anything that’s not helpful.

Many people find that mindfulness helps them relax and de-stress. It can also help us better manage our time and energy, which can make everyday tasks easier.  By paying attention to your surroundings without getting lost in thought, you’re more likely to maintain control during difficult situations. Mindfulness practices have been linked with increased compassion and improved mental health overall – whether that’s reducing symptoms of depression or improving sleep quality.

In short, mindfulness has a lot to offer us in terms of reducing stress, improving your well-being, and improving your emotional resilience. This lunch and learn workshop is for those occasions.

After attending, participants should be able to;

  • Practice mindfulness
  • Know how to quickly reduce stress and anxiety
  • Improve their well-being
  • Improve their resilience
